Join us for the 2nd Salon Series Reading of the 2016-2017 Season: MOON WALKERS by our newest 3GT Resident Playwright, Elizabeth Appell.
MINNA and ALEX SHAREWORTH are mired in grief. Their son, JAMIE, a golden boy died eight months ago and they still have not entered his room. On the night of their sixteenth wedding anniversary it’s raining to beat the band and the house is a sieve. Fearing his things are being ruined, they tentatively enter to discover his is the one room where they are no leaks, a sealed vault in which their truths and deceits come to the surface. Will they survive the brutal exposure?

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Join us in welcoming our newest Resident Playwright Elizabeth Appell! Elizabeth is a playwright, screenwriter and novelist. Her novel, Lessons from the Gypsy Camp received rave reviews (See Amazon.com.) and was awarded Honorable Mention in both the Paris Book Festival and the Beach Festival. Appell has written award winning short stories and over a dozen have been published. She adapted the novel, Lessons from the Gypsy Camp, to a screenplay. The script won first place in the Nevada State Film Commission Competition and placed in eleven other competitions. Eventually it was optioned.
Her feature script, Moon Walkers, (adapted from the play of the same title) placed in over ten competitions at the semi-finalist or finalist placement.
