2016 NEW WORKS FESTIVAL – 3Girls Theatre Company

3GT CELEBRATES WOMEN & THE BODY POLITIC IN 2016

Each year we choose a theme for our New Works Festival to focus our work and help the community rally around important issues. For our fifth annual Festival, we return to Thick House in San Francisco from August 22 – August 28 for a full week of unique original events that explore the politics of being a woman during this pivotal election year. In addition to featuring our Salon Series Finalists, the schedule will include all-new editions of Repro Rights (in collaboration with Repro Rights Theater), LezWrites! and GirlWrights, along with a special multi-disciplinary evening of conversation and performance exploring our theme. And we’ll again be hosting our annual curated art exhibit, playwrights meet & greet, talk-back panel and artists reception.
