Are things in San Francisco as weird and wicked in 2018 as they were in 11th century Scotland? Is the toil and trouble of the current climate finally coming to a boil?

Which of our City’s many bubbles — from real estate to tech to politics and beyond — are ready to burst and who (or what) will do the popping?

Who we are looking for
Women playwrights and woman-led devised theater companies based in the Bay Area. You must be available to attend rehearsals of your work in July, and must be available for the performance on August 2.    

What we are offering
–If you are submitting as a playwright, successful applicants will receive a small stipend for their work. We will also provide a director, cast, and rehearsal space for a staged reading of your script.
–If you are a member of a devised theater company, a small stipend will be provided to successful applicants for artist fees, rehearsal space, and minimal production expenses for a fully staged performance of your work.

Submission guidelines
We’re interested in fresh takes — tragedies, comedies, dramedies (oh my!) — on our theme that make good use of the 10-minute form. One submission per playwright/company.
