It’s a pleasure to announce that the winner of this year’s 3GT Festival Prize is Robin Bradford for her play, SLICE! Many congratulations to Robin, who will receive a cash prize and a 3GT development lab to take her play to the next step.
About the Festival Prize and the 3GT Development Program:
As part of its core development program, 3GT presents the Salon Reading Series, a program of monthly staged readings of new plays by our resident playwrights. At the end of the Series, an independent panel selects two finalists from the group to be performed again at the annual New Works Festival. A different jury then picks one of the finalists to be the winner of our annual 3GT Festival Prize. It’s always a tough choice for the jury, because the quality of our finalists is so high. Our 2016 Finalists were Robin Bradford’s SLICE and Lee Brady’s COUNTRY MATTERS.Past winners of the Festival Prize include Patricia Milton (MOMENTS OF TRUTH) and AJ Baker (ENTANGLEMENT).
