ABOUT the Salon Series

3GT staged readings are script-in-hand, but our talented professional actors are so accomplished that you may forget its just a reading! Audience members enjoy the play and refreshments, and then get the opportunity to participate in a dramaturg-led conversation with the playwright, director and cast. Because these readings are part of 3GT’s core new play development program, playwrights may present their work in any phase of development. So you might see the very first reading of a brand new work, or a polished staged reading of a script that is ready for production. It’s a unique, insider way to be a part of the extraordinary experience of getting new plays from page to stage.
