Our 2016 Salon Series: Reading #5, COUNTRY MATTERS
Are we ever too old to fall in love?
When the two long-married couples decide to trade houses—and spouses—for the summer, you can bet it’s going to be much more than just a “cultural exchange!” 3GT Resident Playwright Lee Brady set her comedy COUNTRY MATTERS in San Francisco and Edinburgh, but the our standing room only audience quickly realized that Lee’s racy tale of adventure, sex and romance –at any age –is universal. Andrea Gordon directed an incredible all-equity cast (Lorri Holt, Charles Dean, Nancy Madden and Dennis McIntyre) at one of our favorite Salon Series venues, the lovely Cow Hollow home of hosts Maureen and Joel. Another awesome Sunday afternoon for 3GT Club members and friends!
Coming up next: 3GT Resident Playwright Robin Bradford‘s SLICE on June 19, at a private venue in North Beach. This is our last reading in the 2016 Series before our selection committee picks the Finalists for the Festival. 3GT Club Members get first dibs on reserved seats, with wait-list available to the public.
