Our 2016 Salon Series: Reading #3, SOMETHING BROKEN
Is there a single moment when a couple can choose to mend a broken relationship or let it shatter beyond repair?
3GT Resident Playwright Suze Allen says she’s fascinated with how some long-term relationships deepen and how some just die leaving the participants bitter, sad and unable to fix what has been broken. For our third 2016 Salon Reading, SOMETHING BROKEN, Suze and director Ann Thomas put warring spouses Bud (Larry Rekow) and Helaine (Diana Brown) in a room, added a visit from a clueless daughter (Angela Chandra) and let it rip!
Our Salon audience had a lot to ponder at the end of this emotional roller coaster of a reading. . .
Coming up next: 3GT Associate Playwright Brady Lea’s BIG MIKE WITH PEACHES on April 17. The reading will be at a private home on Russian Hill. 3GT Club Members get first dibs on reserved seats, with wait-list available to the public. It’s not too late to join now so you don’t miss out!
