Denise Doyle is a Bay Area native, an artist and visual storyteller who is deeply influenced by the Divine feminine. She expresses her creative juice through photography, painting, sculpture and mixed-media collage, and loves to work with symbols and archetypes. Denise plays with well-known deities, and creates new incarnations through her unspoken language with the Divine. Denise has a BFA in Photography from Academy of Art College in San Francisco, and an MA in Transformative Arts from John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, California. She also holds a certification as a teacher of Faces of the Soul Maskmaking from her mentors Kaleo Ching and Elise Durlam-Ching. Denise has served as a teaching assistant in the Studio Art program at Berkeley City College, as a guest teacher in local art centers and on creative retreats. She enjoys facilitating and curating groups of artists for exhibition. Denise also loves to work with private clients out of her home studio, art-making and sharing with individuals and groups. She finds creative inspiration in many ways, including hiking, singing, and dancing with her Women’s Sacred Dance group. Denise lives with her family in a magical garden cottage in Oakland, California.
