Dolly and Tilly were big stars back in the day, with their hit television series, Chantilly Lace. But work dried up after Dolly, desperate for cash to pay off her ex’s gambling debts, starred in an adult film. When a major studio comes calling with an offer to remake the show as a film, a miraculous second chance could make all the difference. Is holding onto a grudge more important than restarting not only their flagging careers but more significantly, their lives?

ABOUT the Salon Series
3GT staged readings are script-in-hand, but our talented professional actors are so accomplished that you may forget its just a reading! Audience members enjoy the play and refreshments, and then get the opportunity to participate in a dramaturg-led conversation with the playwright, director and cast. Because these readings are part of 3GT’s core new play development program, playwrights may present their work in any phase of development. So you might see the very first reading of a brand new work, or a polished staged reading of a script that is ready for production. It’s a unique, insider way to be a part of the extraordinary experience of getting new plays from page to stage.
