Tina D’Elia joined as LezWritesBTQ Program Director in 2019, and was named as the inaugural 3GT Kreitman Fellow in 2020. She is the Owner/Founder of Tina D’Elia Consulting, Casting Director, Consultant, Acting Teacher, Actor SAG-AFTRA Member, and Performance Coach. Tina coaches actors and public speakers in the Bay Area. She’s presented public speaking trainings for organizations, businesses, and institutions such as: Attorney Action Club, Berkeley Law School, California Minority Counsel Program, ON24, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center She teaches on-camera acting for San Francisco Acting Academy and has been a guest teach for Bay to L.A. Actors Network. Tina has cast SAG feature films, shorts, commercials, industrials, and voice overs. She has worked as a Casting Associate with Nina Henninger Casting, CSA, and assisted her in casting numerous Films, television shows, and commercial projects. She received the Diversity Casting Award and Best Actress Award from the Equality International Film Festival, (Emeryville, CA, 2017). She has been a guest presenter with the Capital Film Arts Alliance (Sacramento, CA, 2018) and The Actor’s Conference (San Mateo, CA, 2017). Tina is honored to be part of the national lesbian magazine’s Power list of 2017 with CURVE Magazine. Tina is the recipient of the Executive Producer Award and the Trail Blazer Award for diverse casting and her diverse creative solo performance work with the Equality International Film Festival (Sacramento, 2015). Tina’s acting credits in SAG feature film, television, web series, industrials, solo performance, and voice over.
Tina is an award winning solo performer and actor. She received the Best of Fringe and Best of Sold Out shows for her third solo show The Rita Hayworth of this Generation with her director Mary Guzman. Tina teamed up with Mary Guzman for another successful show run, selling out and receiving standing ovations for the west coast premiere of Overlooked Latinas presented by Brava Theater. Tina has starred in feature films, shorts, television shows, and webseries.
Tina serves on the board for the arts non-profit Fresh Meat Productions, focusing on Trans and Queer performances and highlighting diverse LGBTQ/GNC performers. Tina is a advisory committee for San Francisco Transgender Film Festival. Currently, she is a Producer for the SAG ULB webseries, To Kill an Actor and being recognized as a producer with Equality International Film Festival, at Black Repertory Group, (Berkeley CA, April 2019).
