Ms. Brooks has designed stage lighting for over four decades with Bay Area theater companies. She was Lighting Director at Marin Shakespeare Company for 15 seasons and has designed for Lamplighters, San Francisco, since 2000 . Her most recent designs include Yeoman of the Guard, The Games Afoot, Savannah Sipping Society, The Clean House, Persuasion, Impressionism, Putnam County Spelling Bee, To Kill a Mockingbird, Merrily We Roll Along, Pirates of Penzance and Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill.
