Mercilee Jenkins is an award winning playwright and performance artist.  Her one act play, Winning is published in The Best American Short Plays 2014-2015.   Her full-length play, Spirit of Detroit, was produced in Detroit in 2014 and premiered at the University of Michigan.  Her latest short play, Slumber Best was presented at the Short Plays Festival at the Mill Valley Public Library.  Her newest full-length play, Apocalypse Now or Maybe Later, received a staged reading in April.  She is Associate Producer for LezWrites and will be presenting a performance piece with Repro Rights! during the 3Girls New Works Festival.
