Marty Pistone, Fight Director, is honored to be working at Three Girls Theater Company’s production of Southern Lights and with the amazing director, Andrea Gordon.
He worked as producer, stunt coordinator, and assistant director on numerous commercials, feature films, and award-winning independent projects. Marty attended the Chicago Art Institute studying painting and sculpting. An accomplished actor of over forty years, he received an MFA from The American Conservatory Theatre.
Faculty credits include Stanford University, Berkeley Digital Film Institute, A.C.T., Berkeley Rep, Cal Arts, Julliard, NYU, and the Lee Strasberg Institute. Marty received a 2018 Theatre Bay Area (TBA) award for outstanding fight direction. He is also a 2013 Bay Area Critics Circle award winner for fight direction and an acting nominee. He is the recipient of the prestigious Paddy Crane Award for excellence in fight direction from the Society of American Fight Directors. Marty is a five-time SOTA award nominee.
