Patricia Miller is theatre director, coach and playwright based in London and San Francisco and a life long feminist activist.Her playwrighting is a relatively new practise and is heavily influenced by her long history in theatre directing, teaching and acting. She is interested in a strong dynamic between text work and physical theatre techniques. She works in many genres raging from classics to new play development, modern works and live arts genres (performance, circus, ritual and opera). Her work has been seen all over the UK, Europe and California. Credits include Berkeley Rep, Magic Theatre, Shotgun, NCTC, UCD, UCR as well as Mountview Theatre School/London,Contact/Manchester and Edinburgh Festival premieres. New play commissions include Berkeley Rep School of Theatre and SF Fringe Festival.She has an MFA in Directing from UC Davis and is on faculty at Berkeley Rep and CCSF.
