Women Playwrights Meet & Greet
3Girls Theatre Is Looking for A Few Good Women Playwrights!
We’re delighted to announce that for the first time in five years, 3GT is seeking to add new resident playwrights to our Company. In 2011, San Francisco playwrights Suze Allen, AJ Baker and Lee Brady decided it was time to stop complaining about the lack of opportunities for women playwrights in American theater and take action.
With fearless enthusiasm (!), the three Girls set about recruiting a company of amazing women who share their vision to “put women’s work on stage where it belongs.” Today, 3GT’s six Resident Playwrights collaborate with one another and the larger community to create and support extraordinary new work by women playwrights.

3GT Resident Playwrights (L to R) Margery Kreitman, Patricia Milton, Lee Brady, AJ Baker, Suze Allen and Robin Bradford.
After five years of successful work together, we’re ready to welcome new company members for our 2016 Season. If you’re a Bay Area woman playwright whose work has been produced and you want to be a part of our mission, we invite you to join us Saturday August 8th and throw your hat in the ring! We’d love to meet you, and you’ll get a chance to see what 3Girls Theatre Company is all about. Let us know you’re coming by signing up for the Meet & Greet. We’ll make sure to reserve your seat for the full program:
